Interested in a Dog Training Career?

Havanese are very gentle dogs who are natural companions which is very similar to great dane puppies. They often become very attached to their human owners. This will include following their owners around this house They are very smart dogs and also very playful. These type of dogs are easy to obedience train and can be mixed with other dogs or cats without many problems as they are not aggressive to other animals.

They can be very good guard dogs as they will very quickly alert you to any visitor . Despite their small size they seem quite brave and will often bark at other larger dogs. These dogs are well suited to living in an apartment but they still require exercise. You should take your Havanese on a daily walk and train them to heel on the lead. They may be a small dog that cant really pull you even if they tried, but it is a good idea to train them properly so in their eyes you are the pack leader.

Normally the coat is quite long and needs to be brushed thoroughly 2-3 times per week as the hair can be as long as 6-8 inches . If you prefer you can clip the hair shorter for easier care. Havanese dogs live to around 14-15 years old. They grow to between 3-6kg in size . Because of their floppy ears they can be prone to ear infections and should have their ears checked regularly by a vet.

Havanese come in a few different colours, mainly a combination of white, brown or black. They are very good around children which makes it a popular choice for families with young kids. These dogs are very easy to train to do tricks as they enjoy doing things for people and learn quickly.

Interested in a Dog Training Career?

If you have passed the pet shop lately, you would have noticed Teacup Maltese puppies in the window. If you’re new to the term “teacup puppies”, then you should know that they are pooches that are bred to be smaller than their regular breeds, so whereas a regular Maltese dog can grow to be 8lbs max, a teacup Maltese puppy remains 4lbs max for the rest of its life. Aside from the Maltese breeds, you may find teacup sized dogs in the Yorkshire terrier, Pomeranian and Chihuahua breeds. Yorkie puppies tend to be similar to Maltese Teacup puppies because of their silky long hair, however, Maltese teacup puppies are a better choice for most homeowners due to their mild temper and their natural instinct to protect their owners.

Teacup Maltese puppies are friendly by nature and can easily live in apartments due to their tiny size and gentle, affectionate nature. Aside from their absolute charm, one of the reasons this breed has become popular is its stronger immune system. Whereas most teacup puppies become sick easily, Maltese puppies have fewer health problems when their coat is properly groomed and the area around their eyes clean of tear stains. Other than that, expect your dog to be active and ready to play with you or tease you with naughty tricks.

Beside their personalities, teacup Maltese puppies have a striking appearance: their small bodies are covered with long silky white hair. Their coat flows all the way to their feet that they appear to be hovering rather than walking. However, for easier care, Maltese puppies are given a haircut, thus keeping their fur clean and manageable. In addition to their magnificent hair, the puppies’ faces reflect their friendliness as their eyes are large and dark, their noses black and their ears long and feathery in appearance.

If you want to join the league of teacup Maltese puppies’ owners, you need to remember that after its adoption, the puppy will require your time and constant supervision. However, if you believe you have the time and energy to care for these balls of fluff, then while browsing a litter for sale, you must ask about the shots the dog has had as well as inquire about any guarantee regarding its life expectancy, because teacup puppies usually tend to live less in comparison with regular ones. Still, if you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart, then this is definitely the dog for you.

When first bred the Retriever was a breed used to retrieve dead birds during hunting. As they are an intelligent dog they were later used for other reasons such as drug detection, guide dogs and also search and rescue. They are very loving and friendly dogs .

They originally came from scotland in the 1800′s as the ultimate hunting dog.because they could run large distances . The first Golden retriever was accepted for registration to the Kennel club of England in 1903.. There are a few differences between a English Golden retriever and an American bred one. This includes differences in muzzle size, head size, leg length and weight. The coat can be anywhere from light golden to dark golden and they have short hair which requires less grooming than most dogs. Like great dane puppies this breed does not shed hair very much compared to other dogs.

Golden retrievers are very active especially as puppies. They are also very friendly and intelligent dogs. Retrievers are great with young children because they are very gentle which makes this breed a very popular family dog. Theese dogs really enjoy their pleasing their masters which makes them easy to train. Obedience training should be done when they are puppies as it will have very positive results for when they grow into adults.

Interested in a dog training career? Find out about dog training certification

The Basset Hound is also known as a scent hound because it was originally bread to hunt rabbits by scent. Their sense of smell for tracking is one of the best out of all dog breeds, the only other breed that has a better sense of smell is the Bloodhound. Bassets have small legs and are usually Tri-ccoloured, white black and brown. They are very different in size from great dane puppies

They are a very gentle and loyal breed although they are not particularly playful. So if you are looking for a quiet dog that is not active or aggressive a Basset Hound may be a good choice. For this reason they are also great around children.

A basset hound has a life span of around 11-14 years. Common problems they suffer relate to their shoulders or back. One of the causes of spines problems is overfeeding. Being overweight is comming for a Basset Hound. As they have short legs and a heavy long body this extra weight can cause complications. Even though they are a small dog they still require 25 minutes of exercise per day. When given the chance they love to play and run. Be careful letting them off the lead because if they catch a scent they will often wonder off trying to locate it.

Their eyes and ears are also prone to infection so you will need to get them regularly checked by a vet . It is not recommended to keep them indoors as they shed their coat after winter and you will need to keep cleaning it up.

The ideal owner is someone who is able to give attention to the dog as they are very people oriented. Therefore they are suited to families or older couples who are willing to take them on walks.

Training is very important for these dogs as they can be stubborn. Try to train them from when they are a puppy and realise that they make take longer to train than other dogs which is normal for this breed. They are very motivated by foods and scents often more so than any verbal command.

Interested in a dog training career? Find out about dog training certification

Great Dane’s are one of the worlds tallest dogs coming second only to the Irish Woofhound. Great Dane puppies grow much quicker than other breeds of dogs. At birth they average less than 1kg , after 2 months they have usually grown to a size of between 6-14 kg. After 6 months these once small puppies can weigh anywhere from 30-45kg!

They start maturing around 1 year old where they would have now grown to a size between 45-65kg. For this reason if you are looking at getting a great dane it is important to have a large backyard or space for them to run in. They are very active dogs that love to run around and chase a ball. They require lots of exercise and are not really suited for life in an apartment.

My great dane was a blue great dane who grew to full adult size of about 65kg. He ate a LOT of food, we fed him twice a day with raw bones and meat which he seemed to devour without chewing. Yes they have very big mouths ( i am sure they could almost swallow a tennis ball if they wanted to)

I am about 6″1 or 185cm tall and if my dog jumped up on me with his front paws on my shoulders he was taller than me. The tallest ever recorded great dane was called Gibson who was 7ft”1 or 215.9cm tall on his hind legs! Although these animals are very large and can seem intimidating they are actually very docile and friendly. They will bark at strangers and are protective of their territory.

Great dane puppies tend to stay in the puppy phase for about 1 year, they can be destructive to plants, clothes on the line because they are always playing. If you give them plenty of exercise and get them puppy training from a young age this destructive behavior decreases.

For me the blue great dane puppies are the cutest, they have a very cool blue colour and their coat is very soft and smooth. They never need to be brushed because the hair from their coat is very short. These puppies are also a very good attention magnet when you go out to a park or public location. Even when they grow to a full adult size they are such a magnificent looking dog that people often come up to you to ask questions or pat your dog. They are also a great companion dog and actually very intelligent despite what you may have heard.

Interested in a Dog Training Career?

The Great dane dog is a very tall and strong looking dog that has very short hair. Each year the tallest living dog is normally a great dane. Which if you check the Guinness world records you will be able to see. Their weight ranges from around 45kg up to 95kg.

Is is important to consider dog training for your pet when he is small as this can avoid many obedience problems he may have later as an adult. Taking your great dane to dog obedience classes when he is around 7 weeks old is going to help improve dog behavior.

Danes grow at a rapid rate and if they do not undergo dog training properly then they may grow up to be agressive and to have dog behaviour problems. As an adult it is harder to stop these problems and you may need to take them to a professional dog trainer which can be very expensive and time consuming.

When you start your puppy training be sure to attend dog training schools regularly and make it a habit to go each week. If they give you assignments or homework to practise during the week try to complete these as it will benefit your dog and help them to learn dog obedience much quicker.

Dog training schools pricing may vary from state to state and its important to find a dog training course that does not promote any type of painful discipline which is not necessary for dog obedience training. Dogs can be trained by verbal commands and using dog treats. There is no need for any type of dog shock collar or other painful training device.

Great Dane puppies are very playful and love to play with other dogs at the dog training schools. But because they are much larger, other dogs can often be intimidated by your Dane and will get scared. Just make sure to train your dog so that he is friendly and sociable with other dogs. An aggressive great dane dog is not a good combination. There are also many websites where you can find online dog training tips, some of these websites are good but be careful as not all online dog training tips are catered for such a large dog like great dane puppies.

Choose your dog training school carefully and if it is too expensive dont avoid going just find another dog training school that is reasonably priced because your dog needs professional dog training and without this you run the risk of them being aggressive and possibly biting someone which could lead to a terrible case of the dog being terminated.
